Perfect room acoustics for playing and learning

Der moderne Neubau des Kinderhauses im Riedlepark besticht mit großen bodentiefen Fenstern, die viel Licht ins Innere lassen.

Die breite tribünenartige Treppenanlage bildet die Verbindung zwischen Foyer und OG. Farbige Sitzpolster lockern den von Holz, Glas und Metall dominierten Raum auf.

Der frei hängende begehbare Holzkokon bildet im Foyer ein skulpturales Highlight und steht mit seiner organischen Form in reizvollem Kontrast zu der ansonsten klaren geometrischen Formsprache der Innenräume.

Die Decken-und Wandverkleidung mit den fein profilierten Akustikpaneelen aus Weißtanne garantieren bei vielen spielenden Kindern einen angenehmen Raumklang.

Die abgestuften weiten Deckenflächen im Foyer-Bereich wurden mit edlen Akustikpaneelen aus Weißtanne ausgestattet, was für eine angenehme Raumatmosphäre sorgt.

Der wie schraffierte Holzboden und die fein profilierten Wände bilden einen aufregenden Kontrast zu dem ansonsten in klaren Linien aufgebauten Raum. Ein in der Wand integriertes Aquarium lenkt Blicke auf sich.

Bei der Ankunft der Kinder entsteht meist viel Lärm. Damit dieser nicht als störend empfunden wird, wurden an der Garderobe fein profilierte Akustikverkleidungen von Lignotrend angebracht.

Der frei hängende, begehbare Holz-Konkon wirkt als dynamisches Highlight im Foyer und dient als Rückzugsort für die Kinder.

Im Inneren des Holz-Konkon fühlt man sich wie in einer riesigen Bienenwabe - Hier können sich die Kinder bei Bedarf zurückziehen.

A wide, tribune like staircase in the foyer connects the so-called “Forum” with the group rooms on the upper floor. The highlight of the two-storey air space, which is generously lit via shed roofs, is a freely projecting, walkable wooden cocoon. It serves as a place of retreat but also as an action area. Its organic form provides a charming contrast to the clear geometric design of the rest of the new building.

Wood type

Various wood species are available for the visible layer. For quality reasons, individual wood species cannot be configured for all profiles; for technical reasons, surface treatments are excluded for some wood species.

Profile

The visible layer is profiled with joints. The code for profiling indicates in millimetres: Element width, strip width (rounded, from/to if applicable) and joint width (rounded) as well as a letter identification for variants, e.g. with chamfered strip edges or with additional height gradation.

Note: Some profiles indirectly cause exclusions for other configuration options.

Structure

The face is subjected to a brushing _gb as standard, which produces a stronger or weaker structure depending on the type of wood and makes the surface less sensitive to scratches. Alternatively, a smooth sanding _gs can be carried out, or on request a bandsaw cut _grimitated.

Treatment

Depending on the type of wood, the optional application of a surface treatment is possible ex works. Individual colour finishes are always sampled for coordination. For elements in individual lengths, colour treatment is limited to max. 5 m length.

Fire behaviour

Few configurations can be configured with a flame-retardant surface. This may result in a modified element structure, greater thickness or the need for measures in the area of the substructure.

If the soffit of the element is to have a good sound-absorbing effect, the penultimate layer is configured as absorber _a50g. Otherwise, this layer is configured as a solid wood layer _a0.
