Important update for LIGNOTREND-dimensioning Software LTB-X v2.01

The pre-dimensioning and verification software LTB-x for slab and roof components has received an important update, which above all makes the design of storey slabs more realistic and economical.

In the new version 2.01, a more precise design of the deflection and the vibration behaviour of the elements has been implemented. The improvement of the verification procedure thus concerns the very often decisive criterion of serviceability. It is recommended to use only the latest version. Possibly a lower element height for the ceiling component made of LIGNO® is sufficient to safely solve the existing span.

The background of the update is the engineering proof that now also for the x-generation of the Lignotrend ceiling systems the visible position may be taken into account when determining the overall stiffness of the cross-section.
